Piecing You Together - Comments

  • First of all, your title is so well chosen and I love the humour/sweetness it has, and it's the same with the summary. It's very enticing to a reader.

Your writing style is gorgeous. It's very descriptive but isn't overwhelming. All the little details about Kandi and Logan's relationship add so much realism, it's like I know these people myself. My favourite aspect of this though, was Logan's stream of consciousness. All of his self-depreciation and doubts about his relationship, and his pre-sex nerves are extremely relatable, even if he is a zombie. Speaking of the sex, it's one of the best scenes I've ever read. It was a very polished piece of writing and was the perfect mix of sexiness and class.

I really enjoyed the depth you brought to the characters, and their relationship and the spots of humour throughout. This is a truly outstanding story and your writing is flawless. It was a very different take on zombies, but I'm so glad you focused on Logan's humanity and his struggles with being locked in a zombie-body.

    Good luck in the contest!

  • This is really amazing. The concept of the story is original. I have to say a zombie dating a human makes the worlds much happier place. I'm a zombie fan. I do believe that you are a very good writer. I think that this is a good story that should be more than just a one shot. This has got me inspired and craving more stories like this. I'm glad that's had the chance to read this beauty. Keep up with your amazing work.

  • Wow I love this! I've never watched the program and don't really know much about it but I thought the story was amazing! I wasn't sure if I would like it at first because I don't always like stories about zombies and that, but i really got into it. I loved how you described everything and how you showed Kandi and Logans personalities and feelings. Really great!

  • I'm not at all a fan of Big Time Rush but this was very interesting.
I wasn't sure how much I would like this when I started reading, but I kind of fell in love with this story (plus i have a soft spot for zombies, vampires and the monsters of old).
Good job, I enjoyed this a lot so keep it up

  • I'm not at all familiar with the fandom you wrote about, but I really enjoyed this. It wasn't too long or too short, there was just the right amount of detail and it was incredibly well written. The ending was really sweet, too. Its not a fandom I could find myself checking out again, but I really enjoyed this piece.

    Great job!

  • I don't like Big Time Rush at all, but The Idea with the Zombies and vampires and stuff and the machine is pretty good and the story is well written :DD Also I like how his girlfriend has to stitch up his limbs

  • I know nothing about this fandom, but wow. That was amazing. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but then I got hooked and was able to fully enjoy this piece. You are an amazing writer, and your narration was flawless. You did so well conveying all of the different emotions within this. You also did an amazing job of making this believable. I could definitely see something like this actually happening. The ending was very cute too. I just loved this so much. Excellent job!

  • That was so good, I've never watched an episode of Big Time Rush, but after reading that I might just have to check it out.
Your writing is amazing, as always. And I felt so bad for Logan through out it.
I dont really know what to say it was that good. I dont have any criticisms.
    Great job!

  • I remember this episode of BTR! It was one of my faves, hahaha. I like the way you've stayed true to the original plot but still put a nice twist on it.
