This is my favorite Walking Dead fanfic! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

okay, so, in the past few days (like 3?) i have been unable to stop reading this story. usually i'm turned off by stories with a lot of chapters, but you actually had be hooked at the first chapter and i could not stop.

but then, it took forever to have emma and daryl get together and i was like "giiirl, you better change that or else i am DONE." and then you delivered... but then they ended... so naturally i was frustrated again.

however, i can't help but fall in love with every chapter i read. it's literally 2:30 in the morning for me right now and i've just read like 11 chapters because i. could. not. stop. the way that you have made daryl is so... perfect? i actually feel like i am reading something that a writer from the show is writing because you've brought in the rough exterior, but also the soft interior that we all know daryl has.

and finally, emma. probably one of the best OC's that i've seen on here in a while. i want to laugh when she laughs, smile when she smiles, and cry when she cries. i can feel her pain, and i actually had to reach up and touch my own hair when you had her cut it off because i thought i had actually cut my own hair - that's how involved i got with this.

i guess what i'm trying to say is:
"OMG, sooooo good. plz update?!" :)

So, I just finished reading chapter four and literally almost cried at the end cause Sophia looks so much like my younger sister its creepy. But you're doing an awesome job on the story! Your writing is so grammatically correct it makes my heart smile lol

Got some con crit! You said Emma read this in Daryl's eyes: "We can’t invite these people into the prison. Not without Rick’s permission.", and then a few paragraphs later Daryl said those exact words. Aside from repeating yourself, it's a bit unrealistic that she could read him that perfectly.

It has been a while since you mentioned those characters, so thanks for including links! I'm sure Kyle will start drama, and no doubt that means Daryl will have to take care of it. I also think Mitch and Lucy could be good additions to the prison group, but whatever paths you choose for those characters I'll be happy to read it! Please update very soon!

You do such a great job with the characters in this. All of them seem so real and dimensional. Even the characters that are already established because of the show are brought to life which I love.

I almost forgot about this story! I re-read a lot of it last night and remembered how much I liked it. Its a darker version of Daryl than I see in a lot of stories and I find it interesting. It has me wondering how the heck they'll get back together or if they even will be together! I hope Kyle sticks around. I like how Daryl noticed her reaction to him and I hope more comes from it. But I don't have a good feeling about this group.
