A Witch's Curse - Comments

Hello there love! I think I've pretty much read all of your stuff now, haven't I. That's pretty cool.

Right so first things first, I like the layout. At first I didn't see how it tied in with the story, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with witches, but hey, it still looks good. *Now that I've actually read a little, I understand why it doesn't look like a witch, sorry!*I like the summary, it gives quite a bit away about the story, yet still not enough for me to decide wither I'll like the story or not. You know, I actually really like that fact, it makes you almost have to read, because you're just intrigued.

When I started to read, I automatically liked this more for the fact that you're writing from the third persons point of view. Not an awful lot of authors do that on chaptered stories, so kudos for stalking out from the crowd. I like the beginning paragraph, you don't focus in on just one thing, I often see that in stories, and frankly that bores me so much so that I usually stop reading. I like how you don't just focus on one person either, you jump around with people, that always keeps things interesting.

I really like the idea of her not looking like a witch. That adds something new to this story, I was expecting to see something like, 'her jet black hair flowed down past her shoulders only to meet with the dark dress that clung to her frame, covering the heeled boots that clad her feet.' When I read anything about witches of anything even remotely like that, that kind of description is all I get. I applaud you for doing something different! But a witch in cowboy boots, that's just awesome! ::wink I enjoyed the meeting with Gregory Thorsen. That was fun to have in a chapter, it breaks the writing up, if you know what I mean, adds something unexpected into it.

Your characters are likable and very well described. You're very good at hooking a reader, I couldn't stop reading this because you let everything happen so slowly and smoothly that it engrosses you.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. I think you're doing a fantastic job and I can't wait to see more from this story that is if you're still keeping it active, which I hope you are! Well done, x

I love the font changes you have used! And I loved the starting picture. It set a mood/atmosphere for the story….. Before I even began reading! From the heading ‘A Witches Curse’ I had expected this to be your typical borderline ‘Harry Potty’ fan fiction about a girl similar to ‘Hermoine’. But your story was far from that and actually moved me – the characters are absolutely brilliant and so easy to engross yourself into!

Ah, god this was so worth the wait. You write so beautifully! You have no idea how excited I was when I saw this had updated.

I love how you slowly ease us into your characters, Hale and Lydia. God you're good at the hooks. Why is this man looking for her? What happened with her magic that made her so scared of it? What the heck is Hale?? I will be eagerly--and patiently awaiting your next chapter. This is so ridiculously good already. You just have such a way with words.

asdgasf. I. Am. So. EXCITED. Oh my goodness, I cannot wait to see how these people are connected, especially after you painted such a quick, intense look at how they would somehow be tied together. You are wonderful, and lovely. And this seems so so so exciting, especially the description of the girl. Aaaah! I cannot wait!
