Amazing story! I loved the plot and the characters and everything. You did a very nice job. That was the first time I had ever used the comment swap and I'm very glad I did. I wish I was as good at dialogue as you are. I always find that challenging but you made it sound very natural and easy. Also, I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all night. So thanks for that. ;)

From the comment swap: I think this is a great story, the plot is nice and I think the use of the song was great too because you didn't go out of your way to include bits of it left right and centre so it fit in really nicely... I noticed in your notes you say 'I don't do one shots. Ever.' and if that's so, this is a really fab first try! Like, seriously, you write better than a lot of people on their tenth one shot! However, I think you can tell that you are outside of your comfort zone with a one shot, and I think the plot seemed quite rushed. It would work as a much longer story! Overall, I'm glad I read it, even though it's not the kind of story I normally read. Nice one :)

First of all I like your layout, it's very pretty and I think it matches your story well. I like your style of writing and the plot is good. I can't fault you on grammar either, which is really good! Comment swap is being nice to be today. :]

This was really great. You definitely deserved to win first place. I love how you included the background information on them, and love how it worked out in the end. It was very sweet and beautifully written. I'm glad I was brought to this story to read! Also, I'd never read anything to do with hockey, but now I might just have to start. ;) Btw, I absolutely love this song and the layout you used. Overall, it was a very great piece. I hope you continue with your writing. :)

This is such a pretty story! Your writing reads effortlessly, you have exactly the right balance of description and dialogue and the whole thing flows very naturally and easily. Also, your characterisation is really good, especially with Amelia. She comes across as so realistic and is very believable. Well done on winning your contest! It was very well deserved.

Hey so I'm here because of the comment swap. No wonder you won first place in that contest!!!! The way you write makes the story just flow. You are perfectly descriptive without over doing it. Also, I liked your story. It was a classic best friends fall in love with each other story, and who doesnt love those? I applaud you for being able to make such a wonderful story without it being lengthy. I'm definately going to recommend your story. Good job :)

Hello, first off, I just wanted to say that I did honestly find your story through comment swap, but am glad that I did. At first I didn’t know what to think of it because honestly at first did not know who your story was about at all. Even though I didn’t know anything about it at first, I still loved your story. It was really cute and flowed easily, and I thought you did a good job with describing everything; making it seem like the readers was actually there, and was really good. I love how at the end, you admitted you had no idea who he was.I thought it was really cute the whole story, I just loved the whole thing. Even though you didn’t know who the guy was, I thought you did a really good job, even if you didn’t know who it was. Overall,i thought it was really cute and really enjoyed it,and will definitely be reading whatever you put out next. Good job,and I cant wait to see what else you write--I know it will be just as good no matter what :)
(P.s, on a non important note, I really like her dress, hehe) 

Hellooo, I'm here via comment swap.
First off, your layout is so pretty! Your banner, the format, how everything looks is just so nice. Anyways, enough about that and on to the actual story. I really like it! I thought it was cute and adorable and I loved every word of it. I tend to shy away from one shots because I like full stories, but this made me rethink that. Your writing style is simple, yet descriptive and I like that I can follow along easily. Good job on this, keep it up c:

This is so adorable! I love this! It was probably one of the best one shots I have read in a really long time. usually I like it when they go on for a few chapters but this ended really well, you are an amazing writer, keep it up!

Omg. Just omg. Wonderful Tonight is like, the actual most genius song. Yes I am an American teenage girl and I like that song. But I just loved the story so much! It was so nice and sweet, the character development was genius. There were no flaws in your writing, it was perfect. The endug of this chapter was satisfying, and I completely adored how you had a link to the outfit! That really put a clearer picture in my head. It was nice that the Shawn character wasn't all jerky, so it must have been a very difficult thing for her to choose Ryan over Shawn. Overall I was VERY impressed. It was such a good idea to make a fan fiction out of an athlete, which is something I hadn't seen before. Very very very good.

This was so cute. I'm not usually into one shots but this was brilliant. I'm glad they got together and Amelia said she loved him. Ps, I love the name Amelia. You write wonderfully and when I was reading this I literally sat with a big smile on my face the whole time. Be proud of this story and your writing skills! :)

Awe he's going to show her some lovin'. This was so sweet and heartfelt. I loved reading this. Dang my cheeks hurt from smiling too much. The plot was so cute and I'm glad they finally got together. Hehe, they both couldn't say it. She eventually cracked. I love how you started off in the present and went back throughout their lives and then back to the present. I was hoping that she didn't get with Shawn and I'm glad she got with Ryan. I keep sighing. Lol. Lovely work.

ooh, I love one-shots and this was definitely a really good one! :-)
one thing that stood out to me (in a good way, don't worry!!) was your attention to detail and your attention to being realistic. tons and tons of authors forget shut being realistic, which sometimes can actually be good. but at a larger recent of the time... not so much. I really enjoyed this though.
keep up the good writing, okay? you have a talent!!! :-)

This was cute :-p I haven't read many one shots before, but I really did enjoy this. The wording was a little confusing in a couple spots, but I think that was just grammatical errors, but other than that I found it a very easy and enjoyable read. I kind of liked how you started and ended with the minutes/seconds thing. It was interesting to see how things processed through his mind :-p I was kind of shocked at how Amelia just suddenly wakes him and tells him that she loves him. I was hoping that it would have been a more romantic moment cause I'm a huge sap for romance, but hey it's your story and I liked the ending anyways. Good job :-p

This was really long and I have a short attention span. lol! So I did have trouble reading this. I really liked how you said; “Am I not allowed to have friends?” she questioned him angrily. “Am I supposed to spend all my time with you, helping you with your goals? What about my goals, Ryan?” That was probably my favorite line. My recommendation is to make shorter chapters next time :)

im gonna say i had a problem with the long chpater stoory...i personaly dont like reading everything at once. i wouldve put it into chapters and left them at a cliff hanger every chapter. it draws people in. for me, its honestly hard to just sit there and read the whole thing in one chapter. but, its not my choice, its yours.

The description for this was extremely well. The relationship between the two of them is well related to some of the readers on here. I liked the idea of what he did to make up his promise about prom. The layout fit the story as well because it didn't try to overshadow it.

I love your character of Amelia. I think you did a beautiful job of showing her personality without making a list of her traits. I'm not one for reading one shots because I feel as if part of the story is missing, but this had a perfectly delivered beginning, middle, and end. For not doing one shots you did and excellent job with this.
