I loved it when Regan said: "Make a mess."

After reading that, I got all excited. Crazy-ass, planless breaking-out-of-Arkham shall commence, yes?

I like how The Joker is patient and calm with her, yet again it offers a unique perspective that not many Joker/OC fan fictions really hold...

Oh, and I just want to add one little thing. Like Through-the-Night said, this line:

"How do you feel today?

Alive."

Is really beautiful, I adore it.

I think this is one of the most interesting Joker stories because the girl is insane too. I think in this chapter her saying "Make a mess" will be the reason why Joker becomes as chaotic as he will be. I think this is going to get really interesting. Especially if you tie in the Dark Knight movie. :D I love the Joker and I cannot wait to see where this goes. Please update soon. :D

Didn't mention this but I love their relation, although I'm pretty sure I always write the same thing on your other story. I feel like the Joker is meant to seem a little more sane, a little more controlled, which I love. She's somewhat like a child, and he is patient with her. I hope he's somewhat sympathetic towards her, due to their similarity in circumstance, I suppose, because it would give the story an interesting dynamic in comparison to the majority of the Joker stories. But I love In the Mind of Madness too. I would be so so happy if you updated both!

This is so fantastic. I mean, dear lord how do you write so brilliantly? Your descriptions are so vivid and Regan is such a strong character, if that makes sense? I mean, she stands out to me and she's portrayed so realistically, I can imagine her doing everything you say.

Seeing The Joker from Regan's eyes is quite odd, she doesn't really seem to look at him as threatening and the only thing she describes is the colour of his eyes and hair and things like that: it's a whole new perspective, because usually in Joker fan fictions the OC is rather twisted by fear and such so she doesn't really closely look at The Joker, she just thinks 'psycho, run for your life' or something like that. It's quite refreshing, I suppose. I loved this bit:

She stood on her toes so he could see her lips, then mouthed clearly. “Got a complaint?”

When she came back down his eyes were laughing, and he moved so she could see his mouth. Regan read his lips (“None, sweet cheeks”) and watched him with mild interest. Such thick scars on his face. Like bunched up blankets. He stared back at her, and she couldn’t blink or look away. Time was a piece of glass in the palm of her hand, cutting and dribbling and silent.

I laughed so much, I do like Regan even though she's a bit unhinged, that's what makes her unique I suppose.

The 'Death' metaphor is simply wonderful, I don't know how you came up with that but I like how (for want of a better terminology) the 'voices in her head' are converted into this black, warped being that she named 'Death', probably because she's suffered death in the past and that's what led up to her being in Arkham? The one thing I'm confused about is this: Is Becky alive or dead? Because Death is saying 'Oh, you killed her when she was but a teenager' and then Becky visits her the next day, is it all an illusion or what?

Anyway, I was ecstatic to find out that you wrote In the Mind of Madness as well, because I love that story so much, I haven't finished it but I'm on chapter 25 and it's so excellent, and now you've started writing another one and I'm just really happy that you wrote that story as well... anyway, this comment isn't very orderly because I'm not very good at writing comments, sorry about that. I've recommended it, I've subscribed, I love it, I love you!

Re-read this, and it's still awesome. I like the craziness of it all and Regan's character. Also her other illusions. Yep, can't think if anything else. Good chapter.
