This is such a unique story and beautifully written. I'm very late to the party but I'm so glad I found this amazing story. You're an incredible writer. Thank you.

The first paragraph, besides the French because I don't know French, really caught my eye and set the overall tone of the story. From the first chapter it seems like death is a recurring theme. It seems like Mortimer could be the Angel of Death, which is really cool and different and exciting. By the second chapter Mortimer seems really mysterious and I find myself just wanting to know more and more about him. I also wonder how Kerra came to the conclusion that he was the Grim Reaper. So far, by the third chapter I can literally feel the cold maybe it could also be because my room is set at 66 degrees, but I could feel the cold when Mortimer is around.

I feel like Kerra craves death and is entranced by Mortimer just as much as shes threatened by him. I think Samuel will be Kerra's light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that Mortimer has some warmth inside of him that he wants just as much as Kerra wants her warmth back. I like that you've repeated some words and sentences because it just adds to the darkness/coldness.

All in all, I really love your writing style which is entrancing and fabulous. I love the plot, theme, setting, everything. I love how carefully everything is constrained, love and hate for Mortimer, the sorrow and sadness. This actually made me cry, although I wished that Kerra lived to tell Mortimer she loved him I was more satisfied with the his confession to her. This is seriously, unbelievably beautiful.

This is unbelievably beautiful. I was intrigued the entire time and the voice you write with is breathtaking. You captured very aspect of death and the toll it has on its victims. I was going through an emotional roller coaster the whole time. This story has taken a toll on me and I absolutely loved it. Amazing job.

Oh my goodness. What an ending. Having the last chapter in the voice of Mortimer was a brilliant idea, although I am very sorry it is the end. I greatly enjoyed every chapter and moment of despair in your story. You did a very amazing job at projecting the idea of reapers and death itself. I remember reading chapter one when you first began to write this and I was thirsting for more. Very proud to say I stuck with your till the end and got to read your brilliant ending. Thank-you so much for writing this, I enjoyed it very much so. From writer to fellow writer, very well done. And I will miss both Kerra and Mortimer.

i don't know how i came across this story, but i'm glad i did. this is possibly my favorite story here on mibba. it's so original, well written, touching, deep and there are so many other reasons why it's so perfect. the end was incredible. seriously amazing, xx.

I think it's safe to say this was, somehow, one of the most beautiful things I have ever read - this chapter included, and the story as a whole. Even though I knew it was ending soon, I wasn't expecting this to be the last update I'd ever see of this story. I'm kind of depressed about it, to be quite honest, but to say this was the perfect ending to an even more perfect story would be an understatement. I just want to cry right now because she's gone (not that I was expecting a happy ending or for her to somehow survive but still), because Mortimer is once again alone, because of Percy, and because I flat out don't want this story to be over. But it is and I have to thank you for writing this. And now I'm gonna stop rambling <3333
