This reminds me of a short story I once read.... I beleive it was called "the Yellow Wallpaper". in these 4 short chapters you could really get a sense of this man William's love for this woman, yet how cruel mental illness can be. When he wrote that silence can cut deep, it is true, there is nothing more cruel than to be ignored. Love can drive a person mad, you almost wonder if the circumstances had been different, if the nurses had sent the letters and the woman responded, perhaps William wouldnt have gone mad. It was a very interesting read, and like I said in the preceeding comment, it was so sad but so beautiful.

The third paragraph in the third letter say "until the day I day". Though I would let you know. Can't wait for the epilogue. :)

From the first chapter I could tell there was something a little off with William. His desperation with these letters, and waiting for whoever's reply was just a little weird. I was happy to see that my assumption was right when the nurses walked in to give him medicine. So he must be at like an insane asylum I guess? I wonder to whom he is sending his letters, and why he is sending them. They've been together before so maybe it is someone he loves who is well and what's keeping them apart is the fact he's in an insane asylum. I don't know. I'm speculating.

I love how it seems William needs this person or else it might break him from what little sanity he seems to have. Your descriptions are fabulous. I love how it's dated in the twenties, but I don't think the banner matches that very well. I just love the story though.

First of all, i love your summary! it is very captivating which makes me want to read even more.
Second of all, your grammer is great, which is a releif because people can write stories on mibba, and not have a clue of what they are saying.
Third of all, your descriptions and dialogue flow very nicely. Some people aren't able to do that. You are a great writer, and this is a breath of fresh air. Nothing like i've ever read!
    keep up the good work.

This is so cute. Is he like some crazy stalker dude who got institutionalized because of his crazy-stalker-dude-love for a girl? That would be awesome. The letter is very sad because he doesn't get a reply from this girl, not even a "hey, weirdo leave me alone" message. Poor thing. The medication part made me frown 'cause I was sort of like, aww poor baby had to be sedated. :/

My conclusions are awesome lol. Subscribing (:

I can't even begin to explain how much I love the layout, it's seriously breathtaking.

Now though, after reading the first chapter, tons of things are flowing in my head. It seems like William is "away" for a reason or another, and it kind of honestly seems to me that he's obsessed rather than in love with her. I really can't wait to read more of this.

I seriously always enjoy your work. c:

I think this is cool. :D I love you out the time period in the 1920's which leads to letter to have this vintage-esque vide. he doesn't seem quite over this girl yet. .-. Strongly he believes there is still high hope for them, and love is there even though it's been quite a while since they've last seen each other. You made that strongly clear in just a small ammount of room. Lovely. Just lovely.
