This is a good story and you're a good author. I will mention that I know you said you won't change the layout because you like it, that's fine but it's hard to read the dark font on the dark background which would have automatically made me turn away from this story. Even if you just lightened the font a bit it would help, but it's your story and therefore your decision. I like the plot line. Keep it up!
