I love your writing, Chan. I really, really do.
Everything seems so beautiful among the chaos and the charred corpses you depict with the narration: to the point, decorated with light tones of sarcasm, and intricate words that paint stunning imagery of flames and 1930s rayon dresses burning up as the theater collapses.
It was gorgeous.
I love the mystery in this. I had no idea what was happening, but at the same time, it all made perfect sense. The descriptions you use are stunning. I loved how you compared Lily to a deer; it created a great image and really explained what she's like as a character.
I really like how you ended this as well. It wrapped everything up nicely and leaves the ending open for personal interpretation.
