So, I usually don't comment on stories. Holy shit though, I can't just not comment on this. It was absolutely beautiful. I haven't read anything like this is so long, and I don't mean the plot line, I mean as a whole. It was just brilliantly written, and I love how instead of focusing mainly on their relationship as a ""couple"", you focused on what would be more important to them anyway-- figuring out how to live in a place where they're almost not supposed to. It makes it more realistic that way, and ugh, this just makes my heart kind of ache. I'm babbling at this point, sorry. But god, yes, this was wonderful.

So this was absolutely amazing. The characterization, ambiance, and the ending were all so perfect. I love the sort of dissociation feeling from both the characters, and the tone of writing, Brendon and Ryan are dealing with a problem too big, so it's realistic that they're not exactly dealing with it out right or are all hung up about it. What adds to the the whole thing is the little incidents where they slip up, and the mood darkens, but then it's right back to the dealing-with-it-by-not-dealing-with-it. The ending was--I have no words. It wasn't happy, it wasn't sad, it was just the end, bringing it full circle without making it dramatic and messing with the flow. All in all, fantastic work.
