I really love the way you started and ended this with Elvis; it brought the whole thing full circle and tied everything together really well. I also agree with ChristianMora about how it was interesting that you only mentioned Ville's name at the very end. It was a nice touch and well-executed, too.

As far as concrit goes, there are a couple of sentence fragments throughout the story that threw me off, but that's just grammatical and can easily be fixed, so no biggie :3

I also really liked Anni; she was believable and you made her sympathetic without beating it into our heads that this is the girl we're supposed to feel sorry for. Sometimes that's difficult for an author to pull off without being obvious or annoying about it, but you did a really good job of it here. She just seems so real and down-to-earth without it being overdone.

Her snark during the TV interview was really funny, too: I was sure it was time to cue the typical roundabout answer. Made me chuckle.

Good luck in the contest! :)

I really enjoyed reading this. There were a lot of emotions in it and it was rather relatable too. I didn't think it was cheesy at all.
The only con crit I can give is something I once received as feedback. Starting a few sentences in a row with the same word, usually "I", can get repetitive and bad, so it's good to change it so every sentence (if possible) starts with a new word. It's a bit of a challenge at first, but something that's worth doing because it really helps the story become more interesting and easier to read. You didn't do this a few times throughout the story, but the majority of it was fine. It's just something to think about. :)

I too was very fond of the dinner party scene. Well, all of the story really. Every scene was so easily pictured and just beautifully written. Really good. :)
If you do decide to continue this, I'd like to know. I'd like to see if you can pick up from that ending well and turn it into a great story because I think the ending is good as it is and is closed, so could be difficult to pick up from. But you never know.
I would say good luck in the contest, but I don't think you need it lol which is bad for me..... But anyway, really good job on this piece. :)

First of all, I just wanted to say I absolutely love Ville Valo as a musician and an artist, and choosing to write about him was definitely an excellent decision on your part. And I love how you only brought his name into the story at the very end of it. Call me a sucker for something like that, but I just love it so much. It's the added mystery even though I know via the contest we're in you were writing about Ville. It' s one of my favorite techniques. <3

I love how you mentioned Anni was spending all of this time lying to herself about what happened between her and Ville to spare herself some of the pain. It's a very human thing to do, and a lot of authors don't take it into consideration when they're writing romance. Yet again, just a little thing like that makes the story different. Better. <3

My favorite thing about this story was incorporation Elvis into it. I absolutely love Elvis and his music, and having those added details in the story made it even better for me.

Your skills are amazing. I love the way you write and the structure you use. And Anni was a believable character, which can be hard to accomplish.

Good luck in the contest, darling. <3

I really like the way you've imagined how it must feel to be the past of someone who is famous, to an extent. Like, someone that's going to be so in your face in the future.

I absolutely adored that dinner party scene. The whole vibe of it was amazing. I almost cried at how much I felt I could relate to this feeling she had of him caring for her and them having an unspoken connection, but both being too shy to do something about it.

That was the best Ville fic I've ever read. It was just plain amazing. You've inspired me to write something now :)

    Wow.
I really love this one shot, even though I am not a huge fan of HIM. While reading this, I sort of felt sad about them behind parted in that way. I am glad that he came back for her. You should definitely continue this.
