Don't Go. - Comments

  • I love the amount of details you packed into each chapter. I could almost see everything unfolding before my eyes as I read. I really adore your writing style. It's very simple and not overly descriptive -- just right. I particularly loved the second chapter because the way you conveyed Jamie's emotions was just... impeccable. Everything was right on and I could relate to him in every way. Your choice of words is beautiful. Fantastic work! Keep up the great writing!

  • The description was very powerful, the emotion and the way every little detail was, is just mind blowing and amazing. You have an amazing talent for detail; the story is so emotional and sad - but it delivers a very powerful and well thought out vision. Your story is amazing, and you have an amazing talent for writing. I hope to read other works of yours, this one really blew me away. Keep up the great work!

  • oh man this tore me apart. i may or may not have shed a few tears at the end okay but that's a secret!

the length was perfect, i think. each chapter had just enough in it, and three was the perfect number for this. i loved how we only find out how he died nearer to the end, i don't know why, it just works really well. <3

  • I cried so hard! It was so depressing, but amazingly beautiful. I swear, this line: "I'd gotten used to the lack of heartbeat a long time ago." in chapter 2 killed me. It made the story so much more realistic in the fact that he was in fact imagining Danny. I subscribed, and I love it. Sorry it took me so long to comment. The winners to the contest should be posted soon (: ♥
