I've enjoyed reading the chapters you've posted so far, and I agree with Carell117; not all English speak so posh, and they would most likely know words like kidding and ain't. That said, your knowledge of English slang is actually rather good; as an Englishman living in the US I must say I'm quite impressed.

I like the characters for the most part, though they can be a bit over the top at times (especially Mary), but that gives them a sort of endearing quality and it really gives each individual their own identity, so it works. I'm excited to see where this goes -- just watch the cliches and keep it up!

Oh yeah one more thing, you're going to have choose what kind of Enlglish Tobias is, as in is he posh Enlgish "Good heavens, that girl from across the pond was quite the looker! Not a bad behind on her either!"
or Cockney English "Fuckin' hell mate, that Yank bird was a bit of alright! Crackin' bum as well!"
or Nothern English "Aight lad, that American lass'd get it! Bangin' arse!"

    haha that was fun
