That was absolutely beautiful. In fact, it made be doubt my own writing skills. The figurative language was unique, not a phrase in there that I've ever heard before, and I loved that aspect of the story. Generally speaking, there isn't a single thing I would change, other than the fact that it was far too short. Given the opportunity, I could've read that story all day. Keep writing, the world needs more authors like you.
