okay so i found this story last night and just got done reading it- and holy moly i loved it soo much!!
the fact that adri was still alive- i didn't see that coming at all..
i was hoping for her and finnick for such a long time.. and then adri kinda found his way into my heart by being cute and annoying.. hahah... though i'm still 100% for finnick.. because.. well.. he's finnick

Thanks so much for saying that, that's really kind of you! Adri's character was probably my favourite to write to be honest, so I'm really happy you appreciated him! Especially with the fact that he starts out wanting to put her up as a sacrifice and then winds up sacrificing /himself/ to protect her, he's a pretty ironic character. That plan was kind of what inspired the idea for the entire fic, funnily enough!.

I think this is my favorite Hunger Games story of all time. I absolutely love Winnie and her relationship with Finnick is so cute. I love how they have that perfect mentor/mentee bond and there's that little hint that he just might feel something for her after all. But Adri is my absolute favorite. He had such a good plan with tying her up and using her as prey. He's such a quick thinker like that! I like how she eventually gets him to trust her and the relationship that they form is just so cute! He's always trying to protect her even though she was doing pretty well for herself!

This is still my favorite story in the whole entire world

When I saw the title on the comment swap I was drawn in, and then immediately pushed back when I saw that it was about the Hunger Games. I never cared to read the stories but I did manage to watch the movie. It was okay I guess...Your writing is well written and I didn't even see any errors, well I only got to reading the first chapter. And I know for some reason when I don't like what the story is about my mind goes into HUNT-MODE...for errors. Trying to think of ways for the story to be incorrect in some way. But it wasn't it was actually quite interesting the dialect you use and the description are 'author worthy' I would say good luck on the future of this story but it seems to be already done. So good job at it!

I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES, I LOVE FINNICK, AND I LOVE THIS. AND WHEN WINNIE SAID NO TO FINNICK? I couldn't handle it. I'm still not sure I've come to terms with this, even though her and Adria and just lovely and wonderful and perfect.
And the trailer? WONDERFUL.

Okay, I'll be honest, I've never read The Hunger Games and I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy this story when Comment Swap sent me this story. But I actually loved this story! It was well-written and I didn't really notice any mistakes. I liked that there was a good balance of dialogue and description. Towards the ending, I was hoping Adri wasn't dead and was so happy that he and Winnie could be together. And the ending completely threw me off. You had me hooked throughout the entire story and I just subscribed to the sequel! Great job! :)

Words cannot describe how much i love this. I was originally looking for a Finnick story and found this one! So naturally i wanted Winnie to be with Finnick so bad and i cried my eyes out when she rejected him! But i really have grown on Winnie and Adri's relationship. Thanks for keeping the hunger games alive. Im eternally grateful

I come from the land of Comment Swap; and I am REALLY glad it sent me here. Never have I ever seen a Hunger Games fanfic written so well, as this was. The way you write keeps me not only on my toes, but as if I was actually there. I bawled my eyes out when Adri was "dead", and then jumped up and down like a silly girl when he was alive.

Okay, i saw the name of your story, and I was like "Okay, just push through it. It can't be too bad" And then I saw the word GAMES. My heart jumped. Could this really be about the Hunger Games? It was! I was instantly captivated considering it was based off of my favorite book! I did have the thought "please don't put the Hunger Games to shame", but your writing is very good! Plus, your names are awesome :) Perfect for your story and setting and district!
