I think you have to be super careful when writing a story like this,
reasons are:
I've already seen two other stories today portraying a plot that is already famous
that being said, you're taking an idea that made millions and trying to recreate it. that means that your story has to be the best story about this said plot that there is. your story, does not do that. sorrority row and pretty little liars made and still make a hell of a bunch of Money off of this
you have to.. turn Batman into the Dark Knight to become successful if that makes sense because right now you're basically stealing a plot. that being said, I'm not telling you to consider changing your plot, I'm just telling you to consider trying to improve in the way your write so that it at least becomes somewhat its own story, not a spinoff of a million other movies and books with the same idea.
