This was so sad. ): and beautiful. Stories of soldiers who have died are always extremely sad to me because I don't think enough people realize that this is what happens. My cousin died in Iraq so I understand how it feels to lose someone you love.
This was really nicely written. It flowed really well and I didn't see any errors. It was also very accurate, with the shooting and then the flag. This really made me feel sad, which sucks haha, but props to you! This was very nice. The one thing I would suggest to you would be to explain Jason a little more. Or, to challenge yourself, write from Jason's point of view since the song that the lyrics came from is about the soldier talking about what it's like. But other than that, this was perfect.(:
