I love love love this story! Not gonna lie, I had to go back and reread the first two chapters when I saw that you had updated, but it all came back to my memory really fast :) I think it's pretty obvious that Maddie and Travis were in a relationship, though it seems like it was at least a mentally abusive one, since he said something about her having changed when he realized who Gabe was. I hate him already! And I think she will talk to Gabe eventually, maybe not right away
