Wow,this was an extremely powerful chapter. I do hope you continue this because it really draws the reader in. I'm curious myself to see why the little girl isn't there and why her father gave up and wouldn't try.This is a very powerful piece of writing, short but extremely well written. I look forward to reading another chapter to see what happens. Keep up the amazing writing,you really have a talent!

Wow... This is so...powerful...

I'm already hooked. For him to be so...utterly drawn into the dark of that room, unable to stand up and leave it, is hard-hitting in itself. It's beautifully written; and the tone and strength of his sister's words... Wow. I want desperately to know what's happening between his daughter, himself, and the woman he'd called his girlfriend some time in the recent past. Why can't he bring himself to get up and fight for her? I seriously have to know.

You absolutely MUST. update this. Because I am in love with this story. I have to know more!
