Omg!! Finally an update!! I wish this chapter was a little longer and more in depth with Ophelia's experiences with the others, but it's better than nothing! I'm looking forward to the next update! Good luck in the army!

This was a great update as always! This may sound really sick, but I really love Randy's character a lot! I see why he did what he did. I can't really feel any emotion for Ophelia, although she did nothing wrong at all. It's kind of weird, but whatever. Anyway, I love the way the story is moving along. I can't wait to see what Ophelia's going to do next!

Thank you for you comment. I much appreciate it. :) I'm sorry I haven't been updating much lately. I'm at the tail end of my senior year and I have this GINA-NORMOUS senior paper I have to write... due in like seven days and I have yet to read the books entirely... heh heh

And three paintings to do within two months. And they're huge.

I got soo happy when I saw that you have updated the story. I mean it just got the story moving. I'm glad that she found some place to stay, and I can't wait to see what Randy has in store for her.

I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found this story. It has such a unique plot line, and it's horror too! Usually the horror stories on here encompass romantic vampire stories, but not this one. It has a well-developed protagonist and an entrancing setting. I really cannot wait to read more. Keep it up!

I could see this as a movie, to be honest. Just, I love this; do not stop.

And I am going with the idea all the animals ended up dying due to over-hunting as well as the polluted environment they lived in, unable to adapt to the waste and contamination of our pollutants. This story may also be something of an environmentally concerning issue of our actions as a collective human race.

I will try to work on the updates more for this story. It's a bit hard since lately my attention span has been... well, none existent. So I will, however, try to get the next chapter out today because I love you and you make me feel good about my story. :D

When I woke up this morning and read your comment, you simply made my day. I'm hoping I can do this as well.

I've been looking for a good horror stories, but the ones I usually come upon involve more romance than the actual scary plot. It can be annoying. When I want to read about serial killers or zombies (shit, that makes me sound insane, doesn't it?), the romance ALWAYS gets in the way. Now I don't mind there being any, but offer more for the plot, yeah? Not all of us want to read about the main characters whispering "I love you"'s and "we're going to make it". No. Tell me about your surroundings and what gory, scary shit is going down at the moment!

Ah, pardon my mini rant, haha.

When people comment on my stories, I usually go on their profile and read stories that seem interesting. I came upon this one since it was the second listed and seemed like a damn good read. And what do you know, it is! A future set where humans eat humans because they're the only meat source? What happened to the animals? Were they tainted? Extinct? Did they all die for unknown causes or because of over-hunting? This plot is fucking brilliant.

Pardon my French, hahaha. I have definitely subscribed and recommended. Don't keep the rest of us readers waiting for a tense and gory good one, yeah?

This is really unique and very well done. You took a horror movie type theme and turned it into a real life situation where everyone thinks it's natural to feed on your own species. You created a an animalistic world and we are the animals. Well done:)

At first I was confused because I couldn't figure out if she was a girl or guy lol but I love her name. You draw readers to your book with a horror name, but then hook them with a creative new world. I look forward to reading more and finding out just how animalistic the world will turn out to be!:)

I love stories like this.. this is my third favorite horror stuff. Cannibalism... keep going
