It's tough to find something truly well-written and well-structured on here.
I've just finished "Light," and I think your narrative voice is one of the strongest that I've come across. It interested me that the story takes place in an oubliette (which translates from French as a place to be forgotten), yet is steeped so heavily with memory. Further, the fact that it occurs i the past tense gives the reader at least some indication that the narrator lives on after its end, which again illustrates the power of the light.
All in all, with the exception of a handful of mechanical trip-ups, this is a very sound work.
