Confessing Our True Feelings - Comments

I was brought here by comment swap, and I can honestly say that this is the swap that enthralled me the most.

This is an awesome idea, urging people to open up about their hardest, darkest memories and about the pain they're still dealing with. It takes a ton of bravery to discuss what we've been through, and to me, it takes a lot of courage to admit that your supposed "best friends" willingly betrayed you for their own selfish interests. That was a sadly recurring theme that I read in the entries here, and I can only imagine how much rage and pain the authors are still dealing with. I was livid when I read chapter 15, about the best friend Shelby who deliberately spread rumors about the chapter's author to get back at them, all because of her petty jealousy. People suck.

Looking through the comments here, I'm alarmed that this was initially going to be deleted. I understand that this isn't necessarily a "normal" story, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this is a collection of real, powerful stories from multiple people. That, and it's important to encourage people to pour their hearts out.

I'm glad that comment swap helped me find this, all of the entries are powerfully written and filled with raw emotion. Well done to you all!

i agree JayyVonVanity! they're TRUE stories, all in one. They're still stories! No harm in it. but...it's not our jurisdiction that goes unfortunatly(and maybe the administrator just didn't like it)

Yeah I know . I think it's really stupid . It says it's real stories and it also says there's a bunch of authors . It's from a bunch of peoples perspectives . Unfortunately , the admin below is going to delete it , even though they could have better things to do than delete a piece of work that we've all spent time on .

This piece will be deleted from Mibba in a few days. It does not meet Mibba's requirements for a story. This would be better suited as a thread in the General.

Love this, great impact and I can feel the emotion. I've been in the same position way back when I was in middle school. Had a friend who has uber jealous, and wanted to change me, yet always had to have the upper hand on me. <3 Good job

the idea is a really good one and i like the way you've pulled it off. it's really successful. the collaboration works and doesn't feel awkward like some others do. it's really interesting to hear and be able to read so many different people's voices and stories in one place. the stories though they're different work really well together. such a good concept and really good writing well done!

Well I must say, I like what you’ve done here, what with all the different collaboration of stories. It’s interesting to hear the varieties of things people have to say. I will tell you though; I do have some favorites. One of them being “Everything happens for a reason”. Now that is a story of overcoming something and making the best of what you have. Major props to Courtney from Australia. I like your philosophy too btw. Oh and the story of the Stolen First kiss story surprised me as well. I did not expect the man to have a fiancé – but you know what, I think it’s better off that way. Could you imagine if you’d done more than just kiss him? I shudder to think. I know what you mean though; my first kiss was totally regrettable as well, so don’t worry you’re not alone!

The layout is nice, easy to read, simple, and designed beautifully.
As for the first chapter I feel that you should change the descriptive word, 'retarded' and use a different word. Not only is that inaccurate, but it is also offensive. There are a few grammar errors laced in this, but nothing major.
As far as the second chapter goes I instantly knew that this was going to be associated with a parental figure, it just gave off that vibe. It was nicely expressed, very dark and upsetting. It was obviously written with passion and rage.
This is as far as I have read so far and it is a creative idea to pursue. Best of luck.
