  • I thought this was an amazing read. I have to admit that I was disappointed when I got to the end. I liked so many things about this write, mostly the fact you switched Simba and Scar's roles. I also liked that during the battle, I kinda pictured the battle in the second movie. Over all I loved it!! Clap

  • First of all, sorry it's taken me so long to comment. Second, this was awesome! I like how you changed one event in the movie and it sort of spun off into it's own completely, almost-original story! I like the twist on how Scar is actually the good guy and Simba becomes the bad guy, very original.

Overall, I really enoyed reading this, good job!

  • So, the peice kind of bored me in the beginning (as you can tell because it took me forever to comment. My apologies to that.) but once I got into it and actually made myself sit down and read it, i thought it was really good. I wish you would have used more discription though because I've never seen the disney movie, so it would have been nice seeing what you see when you write it, but other than that I like it because the story's interesting and the characters are great. The dialogue worked well too.

  • I'm sorry it took so long for me to comment. I'm commenting now, though, so I guess all is forgiven.

<3 First of all, I'd like to say how much I appreciate the fact you've written a Disney fanfiction. They are few and far between (and for the most part suck.)

I like that you've adapted the story, but have kept the main idea, and even dialogue.

My concern here is that, perhaps, you've relied too much on the imagery of the movie and less on the description you can provide. Where this not about the Lion King, or (goodness forbid) if I had no idea what the Lion King was...I'd be at a total loss.

So, despite the excessive fame of the movie, it's still always nice to provide description of the characters and the world that's around them. Even the most subtle placed comments pertaining to the smallest details can make all the difference in quality.

  • Comment Swap.
The lion king fanfiction- say what now? If it wasn't for comment swap I wouldn't have given this story, or at least a story like this, a chance. I've never come across anything like it before and I'm truly inrigued. It's very, very different which some people may see as a negitive but different is always good. I hope Simba and Nala reconcile their friendship. I'm really loving this, well done it's honestly the most interesting thing I've seen in a while!

  • I absolutely love The Lion King, and this is a very interesting approach to the story! I'm glad you altered the story to fit your turn of events, it would have been disappointing if Mufasa had still been murdered and Simba exiled. But this is a nice little twist, I'm wondering if Simba and Nala will eventually become friends again because they are supposedly betrothed! But it's a good start, I hope you continue.

  • This is definitely an interesting concept for a story. I'm really interested to see where this is going. It's not really what I expected when Comment Swap brought me your story, but I have to admit I'm intrigued. There's only a few things that I would change in the story. Sometimes her thoughts run together and once she slipped from first person back to third. But it's not something major. It's an easy fix. Keep up the good writing. I like it.
