Oh no! I'm getting King Henry the 8th vibes from this chapter. The King killed all of his wives? If somebody got bored of me and just killed me away I'd be haunting their lives forever. Seriously. Anyway, I think Almira is being stupid but I would act the same way if I was in her shoes.
I cannot think of one negative thing to say about this. Your spelling and grammer are perfect as always, the chemistry between Edmund and Almira drive me insane with curiosity, and just the overall writting style is so effortless and enjoyable to read. I know that writers always want some constructive criticism but I just can't think of anything I'd change about this story.
Update soon! I can't wait to see what happens next! :)
Okay, this is amazing! I've been looking for a story like this for a long time now and i'm so glad I have finally found yours! I love your layout it's kind of middle evil-ish. Now, I'm sorry to say this but I hate Edmund. I don't know what it is about him but i hate him. I do know that the more he shows that he does like Almira the more i will begin to like him. I love Almira and i pity her. I wish she would just run away but i know she can't! ): So looking forward to reading more!(:
Gah! I love Edmund all of a sudden! I'm nervous about Edmund's father though, he seems fishy... I had a serious awww moment when Edmund put his hand over Almira's when she was tense about riding the horse. That was my favorite part :)
It sounds as if Edmund's father likes Almira. Hopefully he doesn't try to do anything to her. It's kind of cute how Edmund is protecting her though and making sure nothing happens.
I love how Almira won't back down from Edmund. It would be incredibly tough to go through an arranged marriage to someone you dislike. I hope Almira and Edmund eventually develop feelings for each other though because even though they hate each other at the moment, I feel as if they would make a good couple.
"Put. The. Dress. On." He speaks through clenched teeth, leaning down until his nose is less than two inches away from Almira's, "now." '
That is my favorite part! I just love the way the story is going, I've gotten so sick of mushy "love stories" where everything works out perfect and they are eachothers soulmates from the moment they lay eyes on eachother. This story is just so wonderful original in how the plot is playing out.
Oh goodness, Edmund seems like a great man. To get Almira to obey him in less than two seconds.. impressive. I adore him already. I'd love to know his mind, as we already know Almira is having a terrible time, but is he attracted to her or not that really interested? I guess we have to wait till the wedding night. ;)
I love the relaionship between Almira and Edmund, all the bickering intrigues me :) And the way you write said bickering is so skillful, it always makes me laugh a little at the witty remarks they both have for each other. I can't wait for the next update!
i do like where this is going. :) I like the premise. I have always loved arranged marriage stories, personally. I can't wait to see what you have in store for these two. :)
I am rather adoring this, it's so cute, and I don't care what time frame it's from, the set up is beautiful. I wish to know more about them individually before they actually start liking each other. So far so good.
