Here from comment swap! I like your style, I totally dig it! I will say, I loved the line "Can't you feel our synapses firing at the same time, little interconnected fireworks of the brain?" It was totally clever and really made an impact on me reading. I found myself wanting to know more about this girl. It seems truly remarkable how quick you were able to grab me, and how sad it was to reach the end.

I feel like you need to pinpoint exactly what you wanted to write about - it kept circling without reaching it's conclusion. Also, try to think about each word you're using - what sort of mood does it make when you use this versus that synonym?
I did like this line, though, "Can't you feel our synapses firing at the same time, little interconnected fireworks of the brain?" a lot, in fact. The idea that synapses firing are something celebratory, like fireworks. What a lovely thought.

I love it and it's beautifully written, but I honestly don't know how I feel about it. It makes me sad because it gives the allure that you're about to lose something special, but you want the other person to empathize with you.

I really like this even though it scares a part of me.

Can't really explain why or how because I lack the words, but there's something horribly depressing here while she speaks of liberation.
