They should've kissed!!! Man! I was silently damning Jared's mom in my head for the rest of the chapter. Uggh... Parents always interrupt the most important things, don't they? Haha. I loved this chapter, just sayin'. It was awesome. I hate that Austin pushes her feelings away so quickly, but I understand why she's so hesitant. Jared totally likes her. If the almost-kiss wasn't obvious enough, he seemed really bummed that she wasn't going to stay for dinner. I hope they don't get interrupted next time!!! Gosh... I love that all the girls are glaring at her. Jealousy seems like a common occurrence in high school, especially when a "popular" guy starts talking to the "outcast" girl. I know what the glares feel like, I got plenty of those this last school year. It's not fun. Haha. It's so weird how much I relate to her! Her nervousness and her thoughts about Jared is almost exactly like I would be acting and thinking. It's crazy! I'm really intrigued to hear why Jared values Austin's friendship so much. He seems like he could have some major secrets. I really can't wait for them to go to his house! I have a feeling that Austin is going to be more and more surprised by Jared as she gets to know him. Thank you sooooo much for the update! Love this story like crazy!
