Can I just say that I love this? Seriously, I love this.
Your language and tone in this are both beautiful, and I love how you don't tell what exactly was going on until your author's notes.
The only thing I noticed that bothered me was how you didn't put a space between a word and a parenthesis; "for the eighth time(Or...)" but I suppose that doesn't really matter.
I was in search for a good drabble to get me into the writing mood, and I found a great one. Thank you!
