Ha, she just needs to unleash Krekkel! Along with Ember's newly acquired black magic/white magic abilities, and Krekkel's fiery fury, the two of them could probably make quick work of whoever's in the house along with them.

Awww, I liked Rick. I thought he was actually a good guy....Well, forget that!

Krekkel is like my favorite character. Is it bad if my favorite character is a demon creature who does terrible things when summoned by bad people? Oh well. She's still freaking awesome!

I have a really bad feeling about this. I don't see how this will ever turn out good.

I WANT A HELLCAT. I WANT A HELLCAT RIGHT FREAKING NOW.

I don't care if she can eat my entire body in one gulp, or burn down my house, I WANT ONE.

And I have a feeling that the hellcat won't sleep forever, or Van will find it. And he won't be happy whenever he does find out about it. Maybe there's going to be a battle between the hellcat and Van or something...Hm. I'm sure he knows the spell to return the cat to Hell. Which sounds like what she wants, so maybe not. I don't know.

I guess Ember's foray into black magic didn't go as badly as I feared. Hopefully that ended her curiosity and she won't try to do more....

I'm loving this so far, I just started it, but I feel like I started somewhere in the middle of a story that had many chapters before it that somehow are just....missing. I am very lost sometimes, I am 3 chapters into it and considering how long your chapters are I can't say this is a good thing. I don't feel connected to the characters at all and I feel like the back story you used in the summary isn't enough to connect me to the characters, like all of that should have come before and made into chapters, like how Von found her and how they got to know each other. it honestly feels like after reading these first few chapters that I jumped in at the middle of a story that somehow lost it's beginning. Otherwise if it weren't for that I would love this story so much more

I love Ember's character. She is so funny. But it's not really obnoxious funny like some characters, where it's just constant and it gets annoying after a bit, it's more subtle funny. She's written very well. Actually, I think all of the characters are written very well.

I'm a little concerned about Ember's interest in black magic, though. It sounds like really bad stuff from what Van said. I don't think she should mess with it, but she seems just reckless enough to try it. Hopefully she hates it and gives it up quickly. And her interest in black magic seems contradictory since she wanted to learn more magic to help people...I feel like people can't be helped with black magic, so I don't understand her interest in it.

Ideally, I hope she just looks at some of the spells but doesn't actually decide to try them, even the weaker ones. She hinted at trying them, which has me more than a little worried. It sounds like some heavy shit.

I love this chapter. I really shows how Ember reacts to being able to become a real magician. And that it isn't always easy to accept the responsibility of what that might entail. :) Keep up the good work.

I really have enjoyed this story. I adore Ember and her spastic ways. :) It totally reminds me of one of my friends. She, at times, is almost exactly like Ember.

I was smiling and chuckling throughout the story so far. Excellent work! I can't wait for the next chapter.

Great story. It's very interesting and the characters make me laugh. Especially Ember. I was giggling when she was checking herself out, but then when she attempts to grope a statue... Oh man, I lost it. :D
