I found this story through comment swap. Initially, I wasn't too fond of the plain background, but as I read the story I liked how minimalized it was putting all the focus on your story and the content. The story itself, I liked. The pacing was good, and you worded the story nicely. Overall, I loved it, and I would love for you to write more. :)

I'm really not a fan of the Beatles but this was a well written one-shot. It's truly a unique story. It is tragic and beautiful. There wasn't much character development though which is something that can easily be worked on. But overall this was a great story and flowed well.

I keep on reading this over and over. Its amazing how your writing flows smoothly, and your storyline is delicate yet heavy with emotion. I love how the last sentence gave me goose bumps, and I almost lost it right there and then! This is truly a unique and touching story. Wow, I've got tears in my eyes! I don't think any story has done that before. And I know that Alex is grieving, but it was her sisters favourite singer! At least show some respect. And its really sad that she died before Paul came. Over all, a truly fantastic story.

This is amazing! I love The Beatles, and I love the song Yesterday. So sad though, but Im glad he got to sing at her funeral.

I love the Beatles. Paul McCartney is my favorite Beatle in fact, he's so cute. This story was great. The detail stunning and the depth the characters had was great. This was beautiful and tragic. Your writing style flowed really well. You did good doll :)

I haven't comment swapped in literally a year so please excuse my rustiness.

This is blasphemy but I'm not a fan of The Beatles. However, I love this story. It's really a beautiful story. Although, it is a bit cheesy. I guess life can be cheesy at times but I wish the cheese was cut down in this story. The last line was cheese but the good kind of cheese.

I felt that there were some great elements that were touched on in the story that made it more dynamic. For instance, Alex was a great character and I'm glad you included him. The way you subtly tied in Paul's relationships with his deceased former band members was another thing I liked.

However, I felt that the characters were flat. Alex is rebellious and stays rebellious until the end of the story. None of the other characters change either. I think that creates most of the cheese and hinders me from feeling any more sympathy for them. Sure, they may cry a bit over Sarah Mae's death but that doesn't really constitue as a real change.

In the future, I would like to see your oneshots include more character growth and development. I struggle with this too. To be honest, I haven't written in a long time but I've learned what makes a good story. I look forward to reading more of your stories!

This was adorable, really. I've never read something even remotely like this before, and It was really upsetting when Sarah passed before Paul could sing to her. And I felt bad over how Alex treated Paul, though I can understand where he was coming from.

Overall you did a remarkable job with this one shot. Seriously, thank you for writing it :)

I got your story through comment-swap and this is my first story about The Beatles.

I'm all teary-eyed after reading this. It's such a beautiful piece. And you took a pretty big risk, seeing you're writing about Sir Paul McCartney. I'd guess most of the band fiction writers wrote mostly of the "in-crowd" bands, which are of the hype at this moment (yes, unfortunately I'm one of them). Nonetheless, I'd guess this is what the comment-swap is for; to "advertise" your stories.

I rarely recommend fics which I've read through comment-swapping, but I'm making an exeption for this.

My gosh! I really got chocked up and the last line, I lost it. You are a really amazing writer and you have to continue writing. Your talent is just too good to waste. I absolutely loved this and I'm definitely recommending. For all the people who have lost someone close to them those were gone too soon.

This made me cry! It was so beautiful. I really loved reading it. I thought you did a great job capturing each character and what they were going through. This is a nice change from weird romances about bands I hate, glad comment swap brought me here!
