Gah, that was adorable. I liked how Gale said he'd bring the memory up later to boost his ego. And how Peeta was nervous. They're so sweet together. Better than Peeta and Katniss anyway. (I hated her the first book. Loved Peeta though!)

Y'know I wish I could recomend this a thousand times 'casue just one recommendation and one subscription and comments on every chapter just isn't enough :(

Amazing as always. I wasn't expecting that really, even less so than when Peeta kissed him. I'm glad they're sort of together now, they make a wonderful couple, y'know? Perfect practically. Although I want Peeta to know the truth about why Gale stayed, and I want Gale to admit he's stayed so long for other reasons as well. Such as the fact he's in love with Peeta!
Are they gonna talk about their feelings next? 'Cause if they don't I might cry. I hate when they don't talk about it and then everyone's uncertain :(

Another great chapter. Peeta trying to scramble through those dark corridors of his mind to sort out what is real and not real. I'm sort of surprised that they don't lay "real or Not Real" but then again, that had been he and Katniss's game.

And again, Gale feeling that Peeta is his responsibitly, his debt to pay. But toward teh end, you can tell that he's struggling to think of Peeta as something other than just the boy Katniss left behind..

The only mistake that I saw (and it's sort of a big one) is this:

"That's District 12," Peeta points to the picture of trees...

It would have been District 11. Rue was from 11.

I love how you've developed this, and their relationship.
I really think Gale likes Peeta. I mean, I feel like when he was saying he'd wrap it around him in his sleep or push his hair out of his face, that's the point it's a little bit obvious he feels more for the boy. I'm not sure though.
You left us on a cliffhanger -.- Those are always the best but I hate them at the same time! I'm sure I'm far off, but did she leave because Peeta didnt really love her? It's the only reason I can think of right now. Lol.
I absolutely can't wait until the next chapter :D

Gale... I've never been a Gale fan, nor a peeta fan for that amtter. (I secretly coupled Haymitch and Katniss in my head). But, seeing Gale fighting his inner demons, trying to repay what he'd done by dropping that bomb. And then there's Peeta- his innocence and terrible metal scarring is just so...curious and terribly wonderful.

This truly is amazing and I am ashamed I hadn't read it sooner.

Wow, only read the first chapter so far but dammit Theo, you've brought me right in. It's probably one of the best Hunger Games stories I've read because it seems as if Suzanne herself has written a spin off. A spin off where Gale and Peeta are to be lovers.

And I'm more intruigued as to why Katniss felt she had to leave, but maybe I'll learn by reading more. I can't wait to see more and how this is going to play out. Great work.

Goodness, you are such a fantastic writer. I mean, your style is beautiful. You seriously need to never, ever give up because you have a talent that needs to be pursued. I don't know if you plan on it but you should. A talent like this one shouldn't go to waste.
Now that I'm done ranting... I'll admit to you that I didn't like the book The Hunger Games. I hated Katniss and loved Peeta and I was bored up until the games started. So, I didn't finish the series. I stopped at the first. But I know enough about it from friends that I can understand this.
It's an original couple you've created. I never would have thought of the pairing honestly and I'm anxious to see when Gale will realize really, he's protecting Peeta because he does love him :)
I don't see how you don't have more comments and followers. It's ridiculous. You're probably one of the best authors on this site.
