Wow. I love love love! This story! It's so.. Gritty? I really like how you capture all of her thoughts when she is both high and sober. It's really insightful as to what she's going through. I hate John... Obviously and I hope that she can finally see that she needs some help. I can't wait for your next update to see what comes from running into her old crew. I wonder what Mike has been doing since she's been gone. Maybe he's gotten himself clean? I hope so. She desperately needs help. More soon please!

Oh my god that chapter was amazing & definitely worth the wait! Brilliant back story! I'm wondering where Mike is now...Ooh, he's gonna be so mixed when he sees her I'm sure. I can't wait until the next fantastic update!

I haven't had a chance to catch up with this - Hurricane Sandy's fault - but now that I have, OMFG THIS STORY IS SO INTENSE I LOVE IT! As for a character? I'll give it a shot :)

1. Stacy/Stacie. Although most of the time she tells people that her name is Christy (Christina is her middle name) because she doesn't want people to know her real name at first. She tells them her real name when *she* considers them a closer acquaintance/friend.
2. Hair: slightly wavy dirty blonde, eyes: gray/green, weight: she's about 5'6, so I guess she could be 125?, skin color: she has a natural tan with sun freckles. She's like a surfer girl.
3. A downfall: She is prone to lying about things, and she's broke because of it. She lies about almost everything and it's a great internal struggle for her. She wants to stop lying, and she feels so guilty about it, but it's become so routine to her, that the lies are out of her mouth before she can think about it. This is due to her past, which was greatly influenced by her parents.
4. Background on character.
-Her parents were in an abusive relationship. Mom was abused by dad. Dad drank, and eventually her mom became an alcoholic too. Stacy/Stacie witnessed a LOT of abuse and it got to her mentally as a kid. As a result, she started smoking and drinking in high school. She's not so much an alcoholic, but she smokes like a chiminea.
5. Character traits.
Stacy/Stacie is pretty street smart. She has good advice to give on life, since she's had a lot of experiences herself, but she's not good at following her own advice (which is genuine advice. She doesn't lie about advice). She's a very confused individual, as she does not know if she is lying to herself or telling herself the truth about how she feels or what she wants. She is resourceful and intelligent, and if she had gone to college she would have been very successful. (Bad abusive relationships kept her from this.) She tries to be a loyal friend, and usually she is, but since she's not trusted by many, this is never really seen. She is very emotional and one could even say moody/bipolar. Her emotions often affect her thinking and her words. She normally doesn't start the conversation, and is often perceived as standoffish or aloof. This is because she's always processing information and thinking her way out of the next situation she'll be involved in. But once she feels comfortable around someone she'll talk their ear off and be very comical and funny. She's lying to stay alive. Her mistakes have cost her a lot. She does have a conscience though. Which makes people trust her at first because she can be so genuine. She's broken, but she tries and wants desperately to be fixed. She's independent, but yet at the same time yearns for good companionship. Even though she tries to help people, she often ends up messing things up due to her bad lying habit. (Her mom often lied to her father and vice versa).

*I hope that I didn't go overboard! I can see her and Brook becoming good friends and trying to help her get out of John's house. I literally can see the whole thing in my mind! I know exactly how it would play out lol. It's not my amazing story though, so I'll let you decide if you want to use her or not :) *

She needs to sober up and get it together!

Brooklyn needs to listen to John and get it together, but not in the way he meant it. She needs to get away from him and return to her old life. Then maybe her and Mike can work on getting clean together.

This chapter made me so sad for her. Her life has gone to shit and she's realizing a bit too late that she should have fixed things when she had the chance. Now things are going to be significantly more difficult for her.

I don't think you realize just how amazingly perfect your story is. Seriously, I hope you do. Because this is the best, well written story I've read in a very long time. I love it so much. Even if it didn't involve one of the ptv boys, I'd still read it. You're such an amazing writer.

Can't believe she's been with him for a month! So glad she finally woke up and realized she majorally fucked her life up by going with creepy dude! lol Now I just hope she is able to get out of that hell hole. Can't wait for the next update!! :D
