This piece was very interesting. Firstly, I loved the connection to both the picture and song – I thought it was very well done. The anonymity of not knowing names intrigued me, and while I had to read the story twice to understand the ending, I really, really enjoyed this. It was written very well and while obviously short, it held a lot of interest for me and wasn’t something I expected to read in this contest. Thanks for entering!
