Dude, we get asked for this story maybe two or three times every couple of months on alltimefanfiction, it's ridiculous. I know exactly which fic it is and I hadn't even read it because people asked for it so often. But yeah, omg, I read this after not sleeping for about 20 hours so I think I was probably delirious. I have to be honest and say I can't stand endings like that so I was none too taken with it but, you did a pretty good job, because I know a lot of people like the fic!

wow, these comments are gold and I didn't even think this story intrigued anyone anymore but I have to agree with you on the ending. When I first wrote this, I knew I wanted a slightly different ending to the story and I should have executed it better but hey, this was written years ago without a single beta. But thanks for reading it :)

I never had one myself but my best friend did and now her dad has it hahaha. omg cringing at Jack's text speak, I remember when everyone used to type like that on MSN and stuff.

Yay, a kiss. I love how close Alex and his mum are as well, it's sweet. I don't get why she doesn't go to the police about the abuse while they're in Washington though, TAKE A CHANCE WOMAN.

So I decided to give this a read because it's always intrigued me -- I've had it bookmarked for aaages. And it always gets asked about on alltimefanfiction on Tumblr, so I figure I should finally get it together and read it because it sounds so interesting from the plot summaries people give, and everyone flips shit over the huge plot twist so I wanna see what goes down. I worry it will have me in floods of tears, but here we go.

First chapter is decent so far... prepare for many comments (even though I don't think you sign on very often).
