Hey there,
Okay first up, your layout is really cool, I like the spooky looking tree :) uhm... just maybe hit the enter button a few times when creating a new paragraph, just to give it a little space making it a little easier on the readers eyes.
Your writing style is good very easy to follow, the usage of the word Gloom is a little too frequent maybe try another word with the same sort of meaning maybe dullness[/], bitterness anyways you get the idea.
Your characters names are very interesting, in a good way I like them very much.
This is a good start it sounds very interesting, keep up with the writing it has potential :)
