  • The thing I love about this piece is how self-aware it is, I love writing like that! The only mistake I saw was you said "slopping hills" instead of sloping but other that that this was lovely, everyone always is trying to create a masterpiece that I think we all forget that sometimes it's nice to write just to write and that idea comes through very clearly in this piece, great job!

  • This piece was interesting. I liked the tie to the picture as well as the song, the conversational tone to this piece and how easy it was to relate to, which is something I find has been lacking (at least, in the stories I’ve been reading). The overall idea is simple but in the context it has worked well. I really liked this, thanks for entering!

  • Dear daisyfairy,

Yesterday the King, inspired by this piece, sent us out to his royal lands with cameras.

You said switch off your phone, he said leave your swords. You said take your headphones out, he said forget your armor.

Most of the Knights refuse to put their 67 kg armor back on, while the others who were almost mugged in the Deary Man's Forest have been in the training grounds since.

Overall, this is a great piece, it was lovely. We enjoyed running through the field with you, past the rigidity of every day life, and into this lovely place called nature.

    Thanks for the ride.

    Truly,

I love this so much. I love going on adventures so this really spoke to me. I do things like this as often as I can. You have a real way with imagery. I really could feel like I was there.
The first thing that really struck me was the picture so I was really happy when I saw that the story was based on that picture.
    Seriously awesome job!
