Hnnnggg. Well I'm not going to lie I teared up a bit. But this was very good. It was very bittersweet and at the end, you loved Alyce and Devon, and hated his brother. Which I always look for in a story; feelings for a character. The only thing I wish you did, is at the end, have a bit more conversation between the two. I feel like it went by quickly, but other than that, great job!

This is gorgeous. Bittersweet, but happy too. I like that you didn't linger on the death part of this story. It would've been an obvious direction, but i love that you instead went for a flashback, and then cut to the romance. i'm glad it ended happily though. a lot of death-related stories are dreadfully sad - which is to be expected, but this is just a nice change. wonderful, i hope you do/did well in the contest. <3
