Found this story through comment swap. I think you've got a great writing style and a knack for detail. But I have no idea what this story is really going to be about, except for two kids who hare each other. I also am not familiar with the characters and you should really spend more time describing them in either the intro or in the first chapter so we can really get a feel for the characters.
