Your layout is adorable. (I know that has nothing to do with your writing but I felt t was worth the commending). Your use of dialogue is effective and you use it conservatively. You develop your characters well through a short period of time. So kudos (: Keep writing!
The story was absolutely beautiful. I mean it in a very honest and blunt way. I loved every single bit of it. Bits to bits, the story was amazing. The story gradually became more intense and emotional; it was so unbelievable to read.
I don’t know what more to say about this. I’m actually stunned that I didn’t see a lot of comments on this story because it truly deserved the attention. To be honest, at first I didn’t really like the layout because it wasn’t my cup of tea. I didn’t get the theme of the layout in the beginning because the layout was just an image of a girl with a printed background –that was one of the reasons why I didn’t really like the layout. Also, the title almost gave the theme of the layout and the story but you truly surprised me. Although, I was thinking the title should have been: One More Day with August.
One thing about the story that makes it absolutely astounding was that it was real. It could have happened in real life which could have made it boring but you’ve transformed it into a beautiful narrative that brings readers to tears.
Great story.
