I re-read this again, and I miss it so much. Also, for some reason I kept pairing Finn and Mauricio >_> I'm so sorry.

Can I say again just how much I love this story? Because I don't think this gets enough love. There should be dozens of recommendations already. I mean, if I could recommend it ten times, I would (I've tried, it doesn't work...)
It's brilliantly written, it's clever, it's original, and I could go on and on and just ramble for hours about how much I like what you've got so far.
I'm so impatient to discover how things will go. I try not to guess things, because I know I'll end up being wrong, but I can't help it, my mind is running wild with all these little theories of mine, and I imagine how things could go, and I really, really hope that nothing goes wrong.
What I'm trying to say is that I'm really obsessing over this, basically.
I hope we get to read more soon.

A filler sure, but it was still necessary. I think I may have mentioned it before, but as I was reading this I couldn't help but marvel at how professionally it's been written and how captivating and realistic this story still is.

I got the impression for the first time too that a lot of good people are going to die, and this story is probably going to make me cry a whole lot.

Loved seeing the update, and can't wait for more. =)

I just started reading this one and already love it.
I love the fact that while I was reading the first chapter all I could think about was the movie Salvages and how awesome it would be if it was kind of like that (apart from Benjie and Finn not being together in the end) and then I got to the end notes and BAM "I saw Savages, the other day so I'm very much stoked to get this story underway." Like, there must be some kind of sensor between us... o.o
Anyways, I'm loving this story so much! One of the best chapters so far - being me - was definitely number 3, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD that was so sad :'(
Oh well... Hope you keep posting this. :)

I think you should update this.
I'm on the edge of my seat every time I finish an update.
I'm both anxious and excited for what's going to happen next, and honestly, I don't think I can keep my sanity much longer, if I have to wait...

If the Mexicans were making cookies, that would be awesome. XD That line made me laugh.

It scares me that they have Daniel now too, and I'm not so sure that launching an attack on them is such a good idea. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see how you let everything play out.

    Fantastic update, as always. ;)

I think your pace with this story is brilliant. It gives us time to get to know the characters, and get attached to them. And that makes the story even more perfect than it already is. In other words, I'm in love with this. And I can't wait to see where you are going to take us next. I'm excited for Mexico.

    Hope you update soon

Fantastic chapter as always, and I have to say that I admire the way you knew you wanted to have Mexico as a setting, and now you're neatly setting up for it. That's absolutely perfect.

I can't wait to really see the action start, and I'm still anxious to know whether or not Benjamin is all right. Poor guy. Glad that Frankie's alive, though! That was a lovely surprise. =)

    Can't wait for more!

I am so excited for the next chapter, I really love you made everything set in plan in this chapter. The other dealers all coming together is just a perfect plan, oh my god everything is great.

    What???

    Wait... WHAT!!??!!

    NO!

    Nooooooooo!

How... oh. How... No, no, no...

They've got Benjie. Oh, this is not good. This is not good.

This was my first reaction to this brilliant chapter. Shortly after, it was followed by:

    Oh, oh.

    Oooh. Good. Very good.

    Shit's going to get serious.

    Very, very good.

What will she do now, to get him back? I wonder. I really wonder what she'll do. Good, very, very good.

That's it. I hope you update soon. Otherwise, it's very mean, because I'm sure I speak on behalf of all your readers when I say we're dying to learn what will follow.

I love this story and how original it is, which makes this story perfect in the first chapter. (Which is what I am on, and will read the rest later since it's pretty late here.) I love how she prays to god and it's so ridiculous but so truthful to how human nature is. Prayers are never selfless it's always a very selfish thing and it made me laugh. Also her boyfriend telling her that its a man thing is very realistic on to how men would think/ and are like. Pissing matches is a big thing with men and I am sure people within power as well.

P.s. Jealous you got to see Savages.

I expected this, but at the same time I'm sitting here in shock. They got Benji! Ooh crap!

I was so pleased to see that Sera and Dan survived, but I knew there would be hell to pay because of it. And it excites me, because I love drama, but it's got me on edge because now I'm worried about Benji! =O

I don't even know what to say. But I am still loving this story, completely glad that I found it when I did.

Can't wait to see more of this!

Oh my! This is so intense. I felt every bit of it. Benjamin's hurt and Seraphina's as well. They're meant to be and yet they have to separate. This is getting so damn good.

Hmm, well this is interesting. He can't kill them unless they cooperate, but they're not going to cooperate. I almost feel bad for him - but not as bad as I feel for them.

And I really feel for Benji. He might flee (forcefully) to England thinking that Seraphina's dead, when all the while she might still be alive. That would be a nightmare. =(

Well, I loved this chapter, and I really can't wait for more! Especially if there's going to be gun fighting. ;)

    I love the title.
That's the first thing I had to say.
I love it because it's exciting and I love the way it sounds and it immediately makes me want to read more.
I'd forgotten to say it in my other comment, so I say it now.
I am also in love with your characters.
I don't know how you make them seem so real, but they really seem like real persons to me. It's all in the little details and I love that.
And of course that makes me very concerned about them, and I DON'T WANT THEM TO DIE OR TO BE HURT OR WHATEVER... (well, actually there's a very small sadistic part of me that wants something to happen because it's good for the plot and all, but whatever...)
And I'm curious. Obviously, I'm very curious.
What's going to happen... Oh, ho, I'm impatient to read more. And I'm anxious. Impatient and anxious. I'll go crazy if you don't update soon.

This is going so well. I feel like I'm there and I'm nervous for them. I've connected with the characters already and it's only the second chapter. Emi, you're just doing a wonderful, wonderful job with this. I will make sure to add this to my recommendation blog in a few days.

I was so excited to see this updated, and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't know what to expect when they were facing the cartel, but I definitely didn't expect him to give them time to think. That was interesting.

It thrills me that there's going to be gun fights and drama coming up, because I absolutely love that stuff. I can't wait to see how you pull it off!

This is still probably the best story of this genre that I've ever read. It's all so real that I find it easy to get lost in it.

Anyway, I'll leave the comment here. Can't wait to read more. =)

Oh dear, I've been waiting for this story...

I don't know if I have to laugh or cry or applaud. All of them, I s'pose. All of them.
Aaahh, this is so good. I could feel the tension growing through the chapter, and I really wanted to know what would happen.

I've love stories like this. And that first part... oh, it was brilliant. It sets the mood perfectly, and now, I can't contain my excitement. I want to know more about the characters, I want to know what will happen...
No need to say that I can already predict that I'll grow addicted to this.

I love, love, love mafia stories, and this isn't far from it, so you can understand my excitement when I actually stumble across a story that actually looks like it's going to be decent.

I love that you've put a woman in a position of power, and you've been eluding to the fact that her male lover could be the one kidnapped, tortured, etc. in order to get to her, because it's original. I won't lie, I like a good damsel in distress - but this is going to be good, I can see it already.

Instantly subscribing, because the storyline and your writing style have captivated me to the point that reading more of this is a must.
