I agree with Silhouette you should stick with one tense but hell its an interesting story...wanna read more... :) I really love the idea as well plus it's a different genre of stories than i normally really read which is a plus :))

That's a very pretty picture you have at the top. Also, try to stick to one tense, past or present. Switching back and forth can be a bit disorienting for your readers.

Still, you have an interesting idea here. I hope that you keep it up.
