Any chance of an update? I'm so in love with this story. You really have a talent for painting the smiling man in a terrifying way.

i don't mean to sound annoying or pushy

So I read just the summary and it sent chills and goose bumps all over my body. This sounds absolutely terrifying and I know I should turn around and run but I'm just so tempted to click that first chapter and I know that I'm going to because this looks like it's one of those stories that is just way too good to pass up. I'm going to man up and click it.

Oh my lord you made Louis the sassmaster that he is at just six years old! I know this is going to be a scary story but if he's going to be a little Mr. Sassypants throughout it, I might be able to sleep at night. That hall scene just gave me shivers and so far, all he's done is walk down it have goose bumps rise. I'm writing this sentence just to calm myself really because I'm so scared, like not even joking. There it is! That terrifying moment when the feet move across the room under the door. Thanks for making me want to piss myself.

Louis is just the cutest little thing with that sass. Of course his mother loves it, I live for the sass. I can't believe how brave he's being though and at just six years old! Me, I like to hide and pretend that nothing is happening just in case something is happening and if I try to find out what it is I'll end up dead. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Holy crap, is she a ghost that's about to tell a ghost story to Louis? Why is Louis so calm about all of this? I mean I get it, boys are supposed to be brave and Louis seems to be a curious guy so it kind of makes sense but still, ANNA IS CREEPAYYY.

Well hello there Stephen mother fucking King, it's nice to know that you're still scaring the crap out of me! Oh my God that story was terrifying. I'm sorry but if I saw the message on the wall and then heard those voices, I'd have left immediately. Like no thanks, I'll go sit outside where it's safe. God, that was not what I was expecting at all and you have a very good talent for making me want to cry and hug my mommy until the bad things go away. I'm just going to let you know what I imagined when she said she would see him tomorrow. I imagine this pale little girl with greasy hair and piranha teeth. I image her to have big, saucer eyes that are both terrifying and innocent at the same time and I imagine her to have lots of scars from the evil things that speak to her. THIS is what I see when I read Anna so... thanks.

Holy shit Lou! Run you little sassmaster! Run like your life depends on it because it does! OH MY GOD THAT WAS CREEPIER THAN ANNA. Like holy hell, what's going on right now? What I want to know at the moment (as I just finished the scene where Lou was chased by that creepy thing you decided to create in what I can safely assume was the hopes that you could haunt my dreams forever) is why Louis had never gone back. Did he say something or do something that let them know that he knew about Anna and that he was going to help her? I don't even want to read another fucking horror story. Why are you doing this to me? I'm just an innocent little pansy and you're TERRIFYING me! I'm legit, shaking right now. This is just.... oh my God.... He's like the scary dancer in Insidious. I hate this man. I really do, I have no love for you Mr. Slender Man GO THE FUCK AWAY. You creepy mother fucker. I was reading this and then my brother in law burst into my room and I actually screamed and woke up my niece in the next room. I just.. I can't even breathe this is terrifying but oddly enough, I want to read more of it because I'm very curious and if I have nightmares, I'm going to blame you.

This story just scared me shitless. But I love it. Updaaaaate

I thought I had subscribed and recommended this story months ago, but I apparently I didn't. Hmm...

I am reading this at four in the afternoon, but it's really dark out here due to the rain. It sets the atmosphere for your story and man, the last chapter honestly gives me the shivers. I don't know why slenderman kept replaying in my mind when I read about that creepy dancing dude. :/

I'm really stoked that you've decided to continue with this story (I heard about the plagiarism issue) because I'm a sucker for horror-themed 1D fics. Plus point is that you have Louis as the main character, which makes me all the more happier!

I like to play guessing games when reading a mystery, so I'll prolly make a few wild ones. Anna is real, however, I have a feeling that she's somewhat like a clairvoyant and can see spirits. These things tend to harm those who come close to Anna, and maybe because of that, her family locked her away for their own safety.

When Louis enters the picture, Anna is really happy to have finally found a friend, but he's gotten too close to her, hence making those things angry. And whatever Anna reads from the book, things start to get real...

This is just a random guess. Honestly speaking, this story got me mind-fucked in some ways, haha!

well son of a bitch it was the dumbest idea to read that last chapter at 2 AM. i got chills and holy jesus i had to do kitten therapy and couldnt sleep for another hour. youre doing a fantastic job. keep it up :)

To be quite honest, I was getting a bit tired of all those cheesy love stories but this one... crap this chapter gave me the goosebumps! I loved how you were able to put suspense in every chapter. Your writing is amazing, really.

OH. MY. GOD. That was an insane chapter each paragraph gave me the chills. This story has got to be one of my favourites. My faveourite thing about this story is that it gives you that adreneline and curiousty that you just keep on reading and never get bored.

Louis is really curious of Anna. I wouldn't blame because not every day you run into a girl like that. It's sort of scary that they don't want to let Louis know anything about her. Also, that smiling man. MAN, THAT WAS INSANE. Gave me a chill myself. Like if I ran into something like that, I'd cry. Hahaha. That scene made me not want to read on, but I did because your writing is so beautiful.

Wait, if Louis talks to Anna, what things would come after him Kat was talking about? Oh my goodness, that is so spoky! LOL. I bet Kat was talking about that smiling man....

I am so freaked out with Anna. Once she opened her mouth about that victim, man, I almost peed my self. (not literally LOL)

The 'dancing' guy, my gosh, I screamed when I knew it was the smiling man again. The tilting his head back gave him a way. And, AHH, I'm so frightened, Louis DON'T DIE. I'm on the edge. My goodness.

I want to know what happens when he read that book Anna gave him! But to be honest, I am afraid when you update, but please do update again. :)

i think anna is real. but i think she's more or less a demon or whatever haunts the shadows. i don't think she's an actual person. i think they're trying to keep louis around for longer than necessary.

Okay, so after reading Turn of the Screw, I'm convinced that Anna is a fictional creature and it's all in her head. Oh my goodness, this definitely freaked me out and I don't get freaked out when reading. I love this so so much and I honestly missed this! I'm so glad you updated this, Meghan!!

This story is really good. I'm not one to usually read scary stories but this one is really interesting. It's terrifying but it really draws you in. I can't wait for the next chapter.
