I read your story first and then I listened to the song. I am familiar with the song, and I really found the similarities between the both of them. It was touching, really.

Didn't actually think that there was going to be some magical works happening but hey, it's your story right? You can do whatever you want with it.

It touched me, and I loved it. Especially when you described his pain so much that it made me feel his hurt as well.

I love the song you used for this... it's definitely a favorite of mine. Your layout is really good as well.

Overall, I really enjoyed this piece. I'm not religious, and don't really read religious related stories, but I think you wrote this really well. You conveyed the narrators emotions so well and I could just see this broken man who has lost everything, and the only thing he has left to turn to is God.

Your descriptions were very well done with this. My only issue is that a few points at the beginning of the piece felt a bit repetitive to me, but otherwise, amazing job on this!

This hurt so good. Both the picture and the song broke my heart that little bit more. Wow.

I loved this. I haven't found many religious-type stories around, so I loved that about it, but it was also so gorgeously written. Listening to the song along with it created such an amazing affect. I loved it.

This story got me right in the heart, hon. Absolutely beautifully written. The song going along with it (Jason's is my favorite cover/rendition of it) really makes the entire thing.
