One thing I liked about this story was how you portrayed the characters. Lately, I've really been detesting any type of fanfiction because the characterizations are all the same. Gerard having a problem and Frank helping him or vise versa is a little bit overused, but I liked the way you did it. I liked how you made Gerard a druggy and Frank just a worried friend. With Gerard being a druggy, it looked like you knew what you were writing about. I could get a feel of what Gerard was feeling. I also liked how you didn't make Frank some girly-guy who always seems like a weakling.

I liked how you put Gerard's thoughts throughout the chapter. It flowed nicely since you didn't put I thoughts after each one. You just left it in italics which made it flow instead of being choppy. Mixing his thoughts and having him actually speak out loud was a great combo - and you had a great balance of both.

The last thing I liked was how this is a frerard, but the first words of the chapter were, He's my best friend, but I love him or anything like that. You never even put something along the lines of Gerard liking Frank or the other way around. This slash has a nice twist.

Sooo... apparently I had to leave before I could comment... pfft...

I love this begining, it's... different I suppose.

Frank doesn't seem as clingy, he's a friend, trying to help Gerard. If Gerard doesn't want to help himself, fuck it then.

I like it.
