I just found this story and I really REALLY love it.. I would love if you wrote more.. I saw that you don't really update (not that I have room to talk) and I got sad :( I subscribed though, I hope you update soon. :)

I apologize. I HAD abandoned it. I lost so much faith and just wasn't committed enough to my writing. But then one of my most favorite authors on here started her writing again after so long and she just inspired me to try again. So, hopefully I will have another chapter out much sooner! Right now, I kind of have to think about what to put in the next chapter because it's been so long since I wrote the original, I kind of forgot how it went. So, I am completely winging this new one, haha. Thank you so much for staying so loyal to this. It's always nice seeing familiar names such as yours :)

God I love this story and it's been so long since you updated. I thought you'd abandoned it. I am so glad you didn't because I'm really enjoying it. It is such a touchy subject, rape, but you've handled it brilliantly and I can't wait to read more. Please make sure you update again as soon as you possibly can xxx

This chapter had me up and down. Down at the beginning, because holy nightmare! That was a crazy way to open, but I loved it. XD Up, because Trinity is just adorable! I wish all kids could be so sweet.

And then the whole interaction with Brian and Zacky...

I don't know. I'm on both sides of the field here. I think it was nice that they stopped so that Trinity could check out their tattoos, seeing as she showed interest in them, and I do believe that they would have gone on their way right after. But I also get where Autumn's coming from, freaking out so much. Even if she hadn't had such an event in her past, two grown men talking to an unattended two-year-old? Socially not acceptable. Even if they had been women, it wouldn't really have been okay.

Touchy subject, but I liked the way you made it play out. It was just enough crazy for my liking.

A side note - I had to laugh at Trinity's middle name. My real name is Renée, and I always jolt when I see it in stories. It freaks me out, and then it makes me laugh. =P

Lol, the little mermaid? Is it because my name is Ariel? D= And thanks sooo much. That was my first time writing about something like that. I've never been through it, but I tried to imagine how frightening it would be. I thought it turned out good, but I was so unsure. I just dove for it and hoped for the best. Thank you so much on your lovely review.

I instantly liked this story - because I found it so realistic.

How many times do people write stories about rape, completely glamourising it? Way too many! "Oh, I was raped but I had this baby and it's the greatest thing to ever happen to me!" No consequences. No regrets. No hardships.

So seeing this story? Total breath of fresh air.

The rape is obviously the first domino, and then BOOM. She's afraid to trust men. BOOM. Her parents don't agree with her choice, so she leaves. BOOM. Babysitter can't sit for her - finally somebody addresses this! BOOM. She's late paying her rent - another thing that happens far too often in life!

I do, of course, love how her daughter is her entire world. Above everything else, I believe that to be believable. Sure, some girls will look at a child born of rape and not be able to stand it, but others will go the opposite way. Seeing the argument with her parents showed why, and I loved that.

And ooh la la, she's met Zacky. ;) And Brian, who made me laugh with his absolutely unashamed flirting. I do love that she ran away from them though, because again - believable!

This could have been exactly like so many other stories out there, but you've made it original. Points for that!

(I want to watch The Little Mermaid now.)

I've never read the original version of this story, but I love this version you're writing.. I love how the emotions here are much more detailed and how Zacky and autumn are not rushing into anything just yet

I like it but the original was awesome. Not trying to be a critic because I really honestly do like this.

I think you've done a much better job this time around. I'm not big on criticism, but I did feel the first time was a little rushed. This was much more realistic. You get a feel for Autumn's struggle in this version. Much more than last time. Great job! Hope you can update again soon xx
