@ Synzeeslash8 I've only read about two chapters of the Dove Keeper; I've been meaning to read it for a while now but I keep forgetting. Must be just a coincidence then, I don't know.

You have a real talent, that's for sure! And I love how you can describe things and all that. But this story so much reminds me The Dove Keeper, that it's almost laughable. Like, Gerard is teaching Frank. Frank is changing in some ways. Frank's mom is all sweet and caring and Frank's dad hates faggots and art. My point is, this can't be just a coincidence. If so and you have no idea what The Dove Keeper is, then please except my apology.

But from watching his teacher, the artist, he felt something rise up inside of him and he suddenly had the urge to paint. He didn't know what it was, but it made him grab a paintbrush and dip it into the first colour he saw, a dazzling summer sky blue, and soon his hand was flying all over the canvas. He would watch Mr Way at times, wrist slowing down but still letting that brush glide across colours and shapes already made, remaking them time and time again but with no intention to perfect his work. He saw his teacher smile at him once, from the corner of his eye, and that only encouraged him, blotches and patches of yellow paint dominating the centre of his canvas while he worked in green and red and blue around it, purple and more yellow spilling to the very edges. It looked like a mess and just an explosion of colour, no real picture within it, but Frank liked it and he was too happy to care if it sucked. He even used some of his sketching skills at one point, smudging the paint around the edges with his callused fingertips, getting all sorts of insane colours all over his hands and then getting paint all over his clothes and in his hair.
That is what I meant by your writing being mesmerizing, I really admire your talent to describe art, and as someone who loves to paint and sketch I just can't even, you do it so much justice really you do. Well done is all I can say, I wish I could big it up so much more, but I'm just... speechless. Haha. xo
