Yeah they were 21 when this happened and now they are 32. Even back then Nai kept a tight lip about certain things.

It is but a lot of people change in a matter of eleven years and things happen. This was before she went to medical school and had a tumultuous relationship with Zane. Everything really went full circle and Naima was just happy that Tom was there to support her even if he didn't realize it. She had a small breakdown (without the crying) and just found Tom even more special.

It's even hard to believe how things really changed a lot.
Probably Nai 'didn't see it' because they were just friends. Oh I shall read then :D

You are allowed to melt haha I melted a little while writing it.
There is always a first time for everything and you can see the dramatic change of the past Nai and the current one. There are some qualities that haven't changed, but Nai changes a little after a while.
haha Nai wanted to be in denial? Scared? It was obvious that there is something there even back then and I just posted the new chapter that kind of gives background of what Nai is feeling.
