I haven't commented for a while but I've been reading I swear. I still love this story. :) You know I was very sad when T died in last weeks episode, he wasone of my favorites. :'( Do you think Rick's going to snap out of it?

Comment swapper :) First of all, you set the stage perfectly your writing drew me in right away and I concentrated on nothing but the imagery you were creating. You don't say much about Iris but I like that, I feel like I learned so much about her in just one chapter and that is amazing. You define her name which isn't something people seem to do in writing but it fit SO well in explaining her character! I can't say I watch the walking dead, because I don't really, on and off I'll watch a bit now and then but I'm going to be keeping an eye on this story for sure! :) Keep up the great work! Amazing job.

You're an amazing writer! I love you descriptions and characteristics. I also think Theh description of the Iris flower helps tie the story together. I haven't read any Walking Dead fan-fics before, but I'm sure yours is the best! I'm definately subscribing and recommending!

I love it! It'd well-written, has a good plot and the last line in the second chapter was just brilliant. I'm impressed and I'm really looking forward to reading more of this story :-)

Hello :) I am a comment swapper, and I must admit when I was sent here I was a little hesitant. I've never watched The Walking Dead, I've heard about it a lot but I have no idea what it's about. Nevertheless, when I read this I was fully sucked in. You have a wonderful way with words, and you write with such eloquence and the vocabulary you use is amazing. It's really gives off a sophisticated vibe, and you described everything so vividly that I could picture it really clearly.

I loved how you described the 'blood prickling under her skin'. I found that phrase to be gorgeous as that is exactly how blood feels like when it is welling up to the surface, and you just depicted it perfectly. It's an odd thing to focus on, but the fact that you put so much care and detail into the little details such as that make this story really brilliant.

I adore this.

The speech is believable, the grammar and spelling is absolutely impeccable, and although there are so many Walking Dead fan fictions out there, yours really stands out.

I love the title, it's so ominous.

“Then what will you sacrifice? Our lives?” The other man yelled back, poisonous venom clinging to every word.

This is really amazing, I love your description of the venom 'clinging' to his words, it's such a lovely piece of vocabulary to use and it creates such a beautiful picture.

“Lost love and silent grief.” She repeated one more time. “That’s what the Iris flower symbolizes.. They helped guide the dead in their journey to the afterlife..” she added even more quietly.

The story behind the 'iris' flower is beautiful, as it relates so shockingly to the situation that they are in, and it's quite gorgeous that you decided to name your character that. The layout and banner is lovely, simple and yet so so pretty, and this was really enjoyable to read. My only criticism would be, instead of adding a link to your character's photo in the actual story, just make a character profile of her. I don't know why, but I think that aesthetic-wise that could change for the better.

However, this is honestly one of the best stories that I have gotten from Comment Swap so far. Don't doubt yourself, even after a long break from writing this story is so lovely and brilliantly written. I've recommended it, and I'm definitely subscribing.

I don't watch the show The Walking Dead, but I really like this story :) Can't wait for Chapter Two!
