Cameron is sure fighting her feelings for Jon - she just does not want to get hurt again.

Jon seems bound and determined to break through the walls she has build up and try and make things work between them.
Time really hasnt lessened their feelings for each other. Jon just has to find a way to convince Cammie that he can change and give her what she needs.
But will she give him a chance?

I get that Cameron was trying to be professional, but I think she overreacted. And I am sure Patrick saw that and that is why he offered that they could see another doctor.

I guess when she unexpectedly ran into Jon - with a baby no less - must have really thrown her for a loop. Although I thought Cameron ended things and they were quite civilized about the whole thing - hurt, but civilized.

But it is a coincidence that Jon has the dream the night before and then he sees Cameron!!

Just found this story and it's AMAZING!! I loved the flashback in the dream and how great you describe the emotions. You write great!

I was a little confused when it all of a sudden shifted right to the ER scene but I feel like you did a great job following through with explaining it. seemed like a bit of a filler chapter, but we need those! it didn't feel too rushed to me. in a few lines maybe, but still a great chapter!

Loving the story! The only issue I have is the layout. It's hard to read on an iPad. #firstworldproblems

Sounds like Jon is avoiding dating anyone that might lead to a relationship - just looking for good time girls with big boobs and little brains. And Cameron just throws herself into her work to keep from addressing her feelings.

But neither sounds happy with the direction their lives are heading.

I really appreciate your comments. I'm glad that you find this to be a bit "unconventional"

I like that Cameron is not your conventional female lead - she is an accomplished young woman who has a demanding career of her own. Not some gorgeous model-like girl who really doesnt seem to have an occupation. And they didnt break up because he cheated on her - or she slept with his best friend - it was more circumstances that prevented them from being happy in the relationship. Mainly on her part, I guess.

But it appears that they are both searching for "that special someone". It will be interesting to see if they find their way back to each other and are able to compromise to make things work.

I really enjoyed this! I am excited to see where it goes! Can't wait to read more!
