I generally don't read Stamkos fics - not because I don't like him, but because, well, Tampa Bay is down there. And I'm up here in New Hampshire. So...geographical differences. But I have to say that I'm glad I ended up reading this! Steven and Megan are cute, but not in a gross overdone way. The story is realistic (again, I love how your stories aren't impossibly dramatic and super unrealistic!!!) and has light happiness complemented by the more serious effects of a losing season. So nice balance. It was hooking enough to read as a one-shot but not so deep that it needed to be longer. Also, I had to laugh at the Marchand/Pinocchio joke. He's a rat, but he's our rat. <3 Anyway, great story and kudos for making me love a player I would normally bypass while browsing stories!

I love happy fluff. It makes me feel better about life. Thank you for big ball of fluff! I would not be opposed to more, if you feel so inclined.

    Two things.

    1) This story is so fluffy, I could die. (Despicable Me reference :-D)
    2) The scenario in your author's note...I want it to happen. And I want to be there. LOL

We should be so lucky to have such a neighbor, hmm? I'd get maybe a 4th liner Cap in my 'hood. Nice one-off - and you could totally expand this at a later point if you wanted!
