This chapter was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE WHAT THE HELL. I wasn't even expecting their meeting to be like this but I'm totally in love. As much as I love all your other stories, this is probably my favorite. I love Salem. Don't even get me started on Reinier and it's just TOO GOOD.

this layout is easily one of my favorites on the whole site so A+ job :D!

Usually in the prologue its the author speaking about the main character and his/her attributes and some life changing events but I love this change of having the main character speak about themselves during the prologue.

If the quirky and witty personality of Salem didn't drag me into the story already, the fact that Reinier is four hundred years old DEFINITELY dragged me in. What is he? How did he become this old? A thousand questions are running through my mind.

This was a great way to start a story and your writing/grammar/mechanics is impeccable. Great job :D!

I can't breathe right now because I'm dying to read more of this. I don't know why, but there's something about her addiction to symmetry that is drawing me in. I'm dying to know more about Reinier and more about their relationship. Salem is going to be one of my favorite written characters of all time, I can tell you that right now. You're overwhelmed by the response because it's pure genius. Update soon, please!

I'm super jazzed about this. I really liked the prologue and I can already tell that I will adore Salem. She's quirky and liking the number four is a definite quirk!

I absolutely adore the way you're writing this. I don't know how to describe it, but it flows so effortlessly and I think it really helps show off Salem's personality (well, what I know of it at least, which albeit isn't much, haha!). I'm really excited to see where you go with this

On a more personal note, Salem's "quirks" are very indicative of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I cannot be quite sure if you're going to address that (or whether you were even aware of this at all); however, as someone who has had OCD for eleven years, I think it's a very brave thing to do, taking on this topic. What you said in your author's note, about wanting to do this right, I totally agree. There are so many misconceptions about OCD; you wouldn't want to misrepresent it. No pressure or anything! (Oh God this is really coming off that way, isn't it?) From what you've written so far, although it isn't much, I can sense that you have a good grasp on Salem's character, so I think you will be fine
